First released in 1976 with eight ships, the "Sea Kings" were not very popular. Only two more pieces would be added to the range by 1979. Another three were in the Pre-Production stage when the series was terminated. It was not until the recent explosion of eBay onto the collecting community that Sea Kings have become sought after.

Due to the line's abrupt conclusion in 1981, Sea Kings are quite rare and valuable. Only a few variations are known to exist which is why Pre-Productions have been included on this page.
